Celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve a Little Differently for a Change

Oberursel, November, 2010 – For vacationers who’d like to celebrate Christmas and New Year a little differently for a change, some of the SENTIDO hotel brand resorts will be supplementing the usual gala dinners, Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties with some extraordinary holiday offers.

At the three SENTIDO hotels located on the southern coast of Kenya near Mombasa, the children can look forward to a special program. They’ll learn some traditional African games, a Christmas bakery will be built on the beach, and Santa Claus will join forces with a magician to entertain our younger guests. On December 24, there will be a party with the theme of “Draming of a White Christmas”. During the gala dinner a choir will sing Kenyan and international Christmas carols. Afterwards, the “White Sand Beach Party” will take place right under the open sky. On Christmas Day, the SENTIDO Hotels will be offering excursions to Christmas church services in Catholic, Protestant and Anglican churches.
For the New Year’s celebration, the SENTIDO Neptune Palm Beach Resort will
build a replica African village. In keeping with the concept of the hotel for the
senses, there will be something to appeal to all the senses at holiday time with
African music, Kenyan specialties and a crafts bazaar. In the evening there will
be a grand New Year’s Eve banquet, with extraordinary flavors as the central
theme.

Egypt: Christmas on January 7
In the Egyptian SENTIDO Hotels Crystal Bay in Hurghada and SENTIDO Oriental Dream Resort in Marsa Alam, guests will have two occasions to celebrate Christmas. On December 24 and January 7 – this is the day when the Christian congregations in Egypt celebrate the Christmas holiday. On January 7 will be serving traditional Egyptian dishes at a grand banquet. Besides this, guests will have a chance to attend Midnight Mass.

Chocolate Party in Turkey
The SENTIDO Hotel Perissia in the Turkish town of Side will be serving a gala
dinner with live music on Christmas Eve. During the day, guests will be able to
attend services at a Christian church in Belek, while Santa Claus will surprise the children at the hotel. To ring out the old year and ring in the new on December 31, there will be a grand New Year’s Eve party with shows, live music and dancing as well as a separate chocolate party for our little guests.
